Educational research examines teaching strategies and student performance

Recent academic studies have explored the relationship between instructional methodologies and student outcomes in different educational contexts.

In Ayacucho, Peru, a study of fifth-grade secondary students at the María Auxiliadora educational institution found a strong positive correlation between teaching strategies and academic performance. The research indicated that 71.2% of students rated teacher tactics as good, while 68.2% of students achieved expected pedagogical performance levels.

In Ecuador, research focused on the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) as a psychopedagogical strategy to support the inclusion of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The qualitative study found that UDL enhances participation, comprehension, and motivation through visual aids and flexible methodological adjustments. However, educators noted challenges in implementation, including a lack of specific training, resources, and time within institutions.
