Academic research from Peru and Ecuador examines various aspects of primary education and teaching methodologies.

A study conducted at the Institución Educativa Bilingüe Nº 31484 in the Junín region of Peru investigated the relationship between self-esteem and learning among primary school students. Using a quantitative correlational design, the research found a highly significant positive correlation (0.959) between self-esteem and academic performance in the Personal Social area.

In Ecuador, a qualitative study focused on the systematization of pre-professional teaching practices at UECIB Miguel Egas Cabezas. The research analyzed a mathematics demonstration class regarding the area of regular polygons to understand teacher methods for motivating students and ensuring meaningful learning through interviews and direct observation.
