Educational training and philosophy events scheduled in Argentina

The Instituto Superior del Profesorado Provincial Nº 1 in Santiago del Estero will host the V Philosophy and Art Conference on October 23. Under the theme ‘Cultural creation and production in teacher training,’ the event aims to connect philosophical reflection with artistic and literary productions. The program includes presentations on topics ranging from Latin poetry and Voltaire to the aesthetics of H. R. Giger and metaphysical speculation in science fiction.

In Chubut, the Ministry of Education is continuing its ‘Desafíos y Puentes Didácticos’ teacher training program. On October 23, in-person sessions will be held in Comodoro Rivadavia for secondary and higher education instructors. The training focuses on pedagogical strategies and guiding student learning processes. A virtual session via Zoom is also scheduled for October 24 to accommodate participants from other regions.
