Spanish cities host cultural heritage and mobility initiatives

Various cultural and civic initiatives are being launched across several Spanish cities. In Salamanca, the City Council is participating in European Mobility Week, offering free municipal bus services on September 22 to promote environmentally friendly transport and raise awareness about the impacts of car usage.

Additionally, Salamanca is hosting an open house event where approximately twenty monuments, museums, and institutions are offering free admission to residents and visitors to showcase the city's heritage.

In Alicante, the city is celebrating the anniversaries of its 'Cultura en Barrios' and 'Aula Abierta' programs. The upcoming season will feature over 170 activities, including music, theater, and various non-regulated training courses running through June 2027.

In Vigo, the Atlántida underwater observatory is updating its schedule to better accommodate educational groups and organized school visits, following its success in attracting over 20,000 visitors since its July opening.
