Educational workshops offered for students in Düsseldorf and Niederrhein

Various educational programs and workshops are being offered to students in Germany during the autumn period in 2026.

In Düsseldorf, the Botanical Garden is hosting the ‘Green School’ program from October 20 to October 30. Aimed at children aged eight to twelve, the free sessions include activities such as exploring birdlife, studying seeds, and creative photography or printing techniques. The program is supported by the Friends of the Botanical Garden and features experts including biologists and plant illustrators. Due to limited capacity, registration via email is required.

Additionally, Hochschule Niederrhein (HSNR) is providing free workshops for students from the 7th grade through upper secondary school. Located in Mönchengladbach and Krefeld, these sessions cover diverse topics such as nutrition research, programming, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and design. Specific offerings include a two-day design introduction in Krefeld and a laboratory-based nutrition workshop in Mönchengladbach.
