EducationUSA hosts university fairs in Ethiopia and Sri Lanka

The EducationUSA initiative, a global network supported by the U.S. Department of State, is hosting university fairs to connect students in Ethiopia and Sri Lanka with American higher education opportunities.

In Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the U.S. Education Fair will take place at the International Community School on Saturday, September 19. More than 20 American colleges and universities will participate, offering information on admissions, scholarships, and various academic tracks including engineering, medicine, law, and the sciences. The event is free and open to prospective undergraduate and graduate students.

In Sri Lanka, the EducationUSA University Fair 2026 is also being organized to provide students and parents with direct access to representatives from accredited American institutions. The fair aims to offer guidance on application processes, financial aid, scholarships, and student visas. Specific details regarding the date and venue for the Sri Lankan event are expected to be announced soon.
