Edward Iordanescu rejects Dynamo Kyiv offer due to safety concerns

Former Legia Warsaw coach Edward Iordanescu has declined a highly lucrative job offer from Dynamo Kyiv. Although the Romanian manager initially accepted the proposal, he ultimately withdrew his consent.

Reports indicate that Dynamo Kyiv offered Iordanescu a three-year contract with a salary of approximately 100,000 euros per month, totaling 1.2 million euros annually. While negotiations appeared to be progressing smoothly, Iordanescu decided to reject the offer following discussions with his family. The decision was reportedly driven by concerns regarding the personal safety risks associated with living in Ukraine due to the ongoing war.
