Edward Sepulveda arrested for alleged decades of foster care sexual abuse

Edward Sepulveda, a 68-year-old foster parent from Moreno Valley, has been arrested and charged with multiple felonies related to the sexual abuse of children under his care. The alleged crimes occurred between approximately 1998 and 2013 at a residence on Highlander Drive in Riverside and various locations in Moreno Valley.

Riverside Police Department investigators have identified four victims so far, including three girls and one boy, some of whom were under the age of ten at the time. The investigation was initiated after an adult victim came forward to report the historical abuse.

Authorities expressed concern that there may be more victims, noting that Sepulveda served as a foster parent for approximately 90 children over the years. Police are working with Child Protective Services and other agencies to contact former foster children to determine if others were affected. Sepulveda remains in custody on $1 million bail.
