Edy Izaguirre Treviño seeks re-election as UAT Faculty Director

Edy Izaguirre Treviño has formally registered to run for the renewal of the Directorship of the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences Victoria (FDCSV) at the Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas (UAT) for the 2027-2030 period.

Izaguirre Treviño, who took a temporary leave of absence from his current position to participate in the process, was accompanied by students, teachers, and researchers during the registration. He noted that the community's presence reflects support for the academic consolidation project initiated during his current term.

Reflecting on his previous management, Izaguirre Treviño highlighted several infrastructure improvements, including the remodeling of the Dr. Bartolo Pablo Rodríguez Cepeda Auditorium, the renovation of the faculty facade and murals, and the construction of a building for International Business and postgraduate classrooms. He also mentioned the rehabilitation of green areas and sanitary facilities. His future vision focuses on advancing academic excellence and fostering an environment of peace and security for students.
