Edyta Górniak resigns from TVP following concert technical failures

Polish singer Edyta Górniak has announced she is resigning from upcoming invitations from Telewizja Polska (TVP) following technical failures during a concert in Białe Błota. The incident occurred during the finale of the ‘Lato z Radiem i Telewizją Polską’ summer concert series on September 5.

Górniak stated on Instagram that the production failed to turn on her microphone during her performance. She expressed deep disappointment, noting that the lack of professionalism degraded the quality of her work and preparations, which she had undertaken despite suffering from a cold. She cited various backstage and on-air negligences as the reason for her decision to cease cooperation with the public broadcaster.

While TVP shared a clip of her performing ‘I Will Survive’ on social media, the artist criticized the selection, suggesting the performance was mishandled. Fans have since offered support to the singer following her statement.
