Eemsdelta launches Mobile Energy House for home sustainability

The municipality of Eemsdelta has launched the ‘Mobiel Energiehuis’ (Mobile Energy House), a traveling information point designed to assist residents with home sustainability. Opened by Alderman Eduard Mulder on September 10, 2026, the initiative aims to provide independent information and practical advice directly within local villages and neighborhoods.

Energy coaches from Eemsdelta Energiek will be available at various weekly locations to explain available subsidies, such as the ‘Isolatieaanpak Nij Begun’, and demonstrate sustainable solutions including solar panels, insulation materials, infrared panels, and home batteries. Residents can visit without an appointment, or schedule a free home visit from an energy coach for more personalized guidance.
