EES Europe 2026 in Munich showcases new battery storage systems

The EES Europe 2026 exhibition will be held from June 23‑25 at Messe München in Germany, forming part of the larger The smarter E Europe trade‑fair that expects more than 100,000 visitors and around 2,800 exhibitors.

At the event, Humsienk will present its AC‑coupled balcony‑energy storage system, featuring a 7.68 kWh (150 Ah) LiFePO₄ battery designed for Europe’s growing balcony‑solar market. The compact unit integrates an inverter and battery, accepts the AC output of micro‑inverters without additional modification, and offers a 10 ms UPS switch‑over for uninterrupted power.

LG Energy Solutions will also attend, unveiling its grid‑scale storage product “JF2S DC LINK 5.0”. The system uses LiFePO₄ cells produced at the company’s plant in Gliwice, Poland, and demonstrates a “battery passport” digital management system aimed at meeting European battery‑life‑cycle and regulatory requirements.
