Eetha film starring Shraddha Kapoor set for December 2026 release

The film ‘Eetha’, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Randeep Hooda, is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 4, 2026. Directed by Laxman Utekar and produced by Maddock Films and Kathputli Creations, the project is a musical biographical drama.

The film tells the story of Vithabai Narayangaonkar, a legendary Marathi Tamasha and Lavani folk theatre performer from Maharashtra. Kapoor portrays the iconic artist, whose life is depicted through her resilience and devotion to her craft. The ensemble cast also includes Nana Patekar, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Anant Joshi, and Siddharth Jadhav.

Music for the film is composed by the duo Ajay-Atul. A previously released teaser highlighted the character's intensity, featuring a sequence where the protagonist returns to the stage immediately after giving birth.
