EFCC Chairman Ola Olukoyede to receive MINILS Fellowship

The Michael Imoudu National Institute for Labour Studies (MINILS) has announced it will name Ola Olukoyede, the Executive Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), a Fellow of the National Labour Institute (FNLI).

Director-General Issa Aremu stated the award is a “premium appreciation” of Olukoyede’s achievements in combating economic crimes, illicit financial flows, and resource theft since his appointment by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in October 2023.

The investiture is scheduled for November 3, 2026, in Ilorin, Kwara State. It will coincide with a conference titled “Safeguarding the Future: Addressing the Nexus of Illegal Mining, Corruption and Climate Resilience in Africa,” organized by MINILS in collaboration with the EFCC and the Human and Environmental Development Agenda (HEDA).
