Efeler (Aydın) market stalls inspected for price tags and safety

Municipal Zabıta teams carried out inspections across all market stalls in Efeler district, Aydın, to ensure that products display clear price labels. Vendors using illegible or misleading tags were warned that legal action could follow, aiming to prevent price confusion for shoppers.

Inspectors also checked that stall layouts respected designated aisles and parcel boundaries. Vendors who set up booths beyond their allotted space or blocked pedestrian pathways were ordered to withdraw their tables, facilitating smoother foot traffic. The Zabıta director emphasised that the checks will continue irregularly, not to penalise compliant traders but to protect the rights of both sellers and consumers in the local markets.
