Efeler Municipality conducts bakery hygiene and weight inspections

Efeler Municipality municipal police teams have launched comprehensive inspections of bakery production and sales points throughout the district. The operations aim to protect public health and consumer rights by ensuring that bread and other baked goods are produced and sold under hygienic conditions.

During the inspections, authorities reviewed business licenses, hygiene certificates, staff clothing, and the cleanliness of production facilities. Teams also monitored compliance with weight and portion standards to prevent unfair commercial practices. While compliant businesses were acknowledged, those found with deficiencies were issued formal warnings and given a period to rectify the issues. Municipal officials stated that these inspections will continue regularly to ensure access to safe food.
