Efes Selçuk Municipality provides affordable food via Halk Mark-Et

The Efes Selçuk Municipality continues to operate Halk Mark-Et, a social municipalism project designed to provide affordable access to healthy food products. Launched in response to public demand and declining purchasing power, the initiative provides residents with fresh meat, deli products, milk, eggs, and cheese.

Mayor Filiz Ceritoğlu Sengel stated that the project serves as an example of solidarity, sourcing healthy food products through cooperatives to ensure they remain affordable for citizens. The service operates from 10:00 to 18:00, except on Sundays, with campaign information shared via the municipality’s social media channels.
