EFET orders recall of cannabis‑infused gummies in Greece

The Greek Food Authority (EFET) has ordered the immediate market withdrawal of candy‑type products containing cannabis extracts. The recalled items, sold under the name “Cookies Delta 9 Gummies infused” and marketed commercially as “London Pound Cake75”, were found to contain high levels of delta‑9‑tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ9‑THC) and delta‑8‑THC, as well as the non‑approved substance cannabidiol (CBD).

The products are imported from the United States and distributed in Greece by the company BIOMINERALES PHARMA EUROPE. Although labelled for “souvenir purposes”, EFET determined that their appearance, composition and presentation qualify them as food, making consumption reasonably expected. Consumers who have purchased the gummies are urged not to consume them while authorities conduct further checks.
