VinFast expands electric vehicle infrastructure and consumer events in Vietnam
VinFast is actively expanding its electric vehicle (EV) ecosystem in Vietnam through infrastructure development and consumer engagement programs. The company is enhancing its charging network, which currently includes over 155,000 V-Green charging ports nationwide, with plans to complete 99 supercharging stations along highways and national roads this year. Each superstation is designed to support fast charging for 100 electric vehicles simultaneously to meet long-distance travel demands.
To facilitate the transition from internal combustion engines to electric mobility, VinFast is hosting a series of 880 events titled ‘Trade Gasoline for Electricity – Choose VinFast’ at 88 Vincom shopping centers across the country from October to December 2026. These events allow customers to experience various EV models and learn about charging and maintenance.
Additionally, VinFast’s battery-swapping technology for electric motorbikes is addressing infrastructure challenges in urban residential areas, such as apartment buildings where charging installations may be limited. The V-Green battery-swapping network has reached 80,000 stations nationwide, with a target of 150,000 stations by the end of the year, providing a rapid one-minute swap option for users.
