Efficient Power Conversion to showcase GaN technology at electronica 2026

Efficient Power Conversion (EPC) has announced it will showcase its latest Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology at the electronica 2026 exhibition in Munich, Germany. The company plans to demonstrate how eGaN FETs and integrated power stages can create smaller, faster, and more efficient power systems for several emerging sectors.

A primary focus will be the AI power infrastructure. EPC intends to present solutions for the power-delivery chain, including 800 VDC distribution and point-of-load conversion. This includes a 6 kW 800 V-to-6 V converter designed to bring high-voltage power closer to next-generation AI processors, as well as Gen8 GaN power-stage technology for ultra-high-frequency conversion.

For robotics and physical AI, EPC will display integrated solutions for humanoid robots, drones, and intelligent motion systems, such as the EPC33110 three-phase integrated ePower Stage IC. Additionally, EPC Space will present radiation-hardened GaN technology specifically designed for space computing and DC-DC converters.
