EFG Hermes tops EXTEL Corporate Access rankings for second year

EFG Hermes, the investment banking arm of EFG Holding, has secured the top position in the 2026 EXTEL Emerging Markets survey for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) region in the Corporate Access Conference category. This marks the second consecutive year the firm has held this ranking.

The company attributed this success to its ability to connect international investors with investment opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. A key driver of this achievement is the firm’s annual ‘One-on-One’ investment conference, which recently hosted 220 companies from 12 countries and 675 institutional investors representing 252 global investment firms.

In addition to corporate access, EFG Hermes’ research division achieved high rankings across several key sectors. Individual analysts received top honors in utilities, transport, oil and gas, and healthcare. Mohamed Obeid, Co-CEO of EFG Hermes, stated that the ranking serves as a testament to client trust and the firm's role in bridging global and regional capital with listed companies in the MENA markets.
