Composer Nikos Karvelas has been spotted on the island of Paros, marking his first public appearance following a high-profile dispute with his former partner and long-time collaborator, singer Anna Vissi. The conflict, which surfaced following Vissi’s concert at the Olympic Stadium (OAKA), involves disagreements regarding both artistic and financial aspects of their professional relationship.

While the rift has caused significant tension in the Greek music industry, reports indicate that Vissi’s team does not intend to pursue legal action regarding the dispute. However, Karvelas has taken personal control over the management of his songs. As a result, several prominent artists, including Sakis Rouvas and Katerina Staniisi, are reportedly seeking his permission to continue performing his compositions in live venues.

Parallel to the professional fallout, Karvelas is reportedly undergoing a tax audit by the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) concerning his personal income and business entities.
