Drone fragments discovered along the Romanian Black Sea coast

Multiple drone fragments have been discovered along the Romanian Black Sea coast, sparking security alerts in popular seaside resorts. Recent finds include debris washed up at Eforie Nord and Olimp.

In Eforie Nord, a tourist recovered a suspected fragment from the water, which was subsequently handed over to the Constanța Coast Guard for analysis. Authorities are working to determine the origin and type of the aerial vehicle, noting that such incidents occur amid intensified conflicts near the country's territorial waters. Preliminary expertise indicated that the specific object found did not pose an immediate risk of explosion, though standard military analysis procedures are underway.

Security officials and lifeguards have issued urgent warnings to tourists, advising them not to touch or move any suspicious floating or metallic objects found on beaches or in the sea, as they could contain explosives. This follows a series of similar discoveries in the region, including debris found in Constanța and Costinești.
