Efraín Juárez leads Győri ETO to top of Hungarian League

Mexican manager Efraín Juárez is seeing positive results with Győri ETO in the Hungarian League (NB I). Under his leadership, the team has secured 15 points, placing them near the top of the standings and sharing the lead with Puskás Akadémia.

Juárez noted that the team's success is due to building a strong physical foundation rather than magic, especially after overcoming an unusual streak of player injuries and bureaucratic difficulties during the early weeks of his tenure. He emphasized an aggressive playing style and a focus on taking the season one match at a time.

Despite the domestic success, the club recently faced a setback in European competition, being eliminated from the UEFA Conference League in the third qualifying round after a 2-1 aggregate loss to Riga FC.
