EGAT showcases green energy innovations at Gastech 2026

The Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) participated in the Gastech 2026 global energy forum held at BITEC Bangna. Under the theme ‘Bridging the Next Energy Era’, the exhibition showcased innovations aimed at driving Thailand toward its Net Zero goals.

EGAT’s presentation focused on three strategic dimensions: energy security through natural gas and LNG management and grid modernization; energy transition via low-carbon technologies like hydrogen and biomass; and a sustainable future through the study of Small Modular Reactor (SMR) technology. The event was attended by Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul and various energy ministry officials to discuss regional power grid connectivity and clean energy advancements.
