Ege Gıda Meşrubat files for concordat in Turkey

Ege Gıda Meşrubat Sanayi ve Ticaret Limited Şirketi, a Tekirdağ-based producer of food and cleaning products, has filed for concordat (bankruptcy protection). The Edirne 2nd Civil Court of First Instance has granted a three-month temporary moratorium for the company and its owners, Dilek Göçler and Necip Beştepe.

The company maintains a diverse product portfolio, including sugar, tea, bulgur, starch, vinegar, bleach, soda, and antifreeze. Creditors have been notified and have seven days to submit evidence to the court if they believe the conditions for concordat have not been met and wish to request the rejection of the process.

Financial records indicate a decline in the company's tax base in 2025. After reporting a tax base of 3,119,319 TL in 2023 and 3,377,108 TL in 2024, the base fell to 2,967,374 TL in 2025, with accrued taxes decreasing from 844,277 TL in 2024 to 741,843 TL in 2025.
