Egis appoints new environmental technical director for the UK

Global engineering and consulting firm Egis has appointed Jamie Gleave as the senior environmental impact assessment technical director for the United Kingdom. Gleave, who joins from AECOM with over 25 years of experience, will support the firm’s transport, cities, and sustainable infrastructure teams. His role includes helping clients navigate complex planning and the transition to Environmental Outcomes Reports in England.

Egis operates as a multidisciplinary firm with a workforce of 23,500 across more than 70 countries. The company’s ownership is divided among Tikehau Capital (43 percent), the French state-owned Caisse des Dépôts (34 percent), and partner managers and employees (23 percent). While headquartered in France, more than 62 percent of the firm’s revenue and active contracts are generated internationally.
