Egmont announces 2027 comic book publishing plans

During the International Festival of Comics and Games in Łódź, the publisher Egmont presented its upcoming publication plans for 2027 and late 2025/2026. Martyna Chrzanowska, head of the comic division, detailed an extensive lineup for DC Comics, including at least 30 new Batman-related titles. Planned releases include volumes of Batman/Superman: World’s Finest, Batman: Detective Comics, and a new Batman series by Matt Fraction. The schedule also features the Absolute Batman series, classic events such as Batman: Bruce Wayne: Murderer?, and deluxe editions of Batman: The Last Halloween.

In addition to DC titles, Egmont announced the second volume of Kari Korhonen’s ‘Scrooge McDuck Memoirs’ for release next year. This follows the success of the first volume and will feature stories of the character's youth in Japan, Africa, and Antarctica. Other upcoming Disney-related releases include the third volume of the ‘Disney Great Heroes’ series, scheduled for late November, and a ‘Gigant Poleca Extra’ volume titled ‘Around the World: Central Europe’ arriving in October.
