Egmont releases collected edition of Amazonia comic series

Egmont publishing has released a collected edition of the comic series ‘Amazonia’, which includes all five volumes of the story. The narrative follows the adventures of Kathy Austin, a British intelligence agent previously featured in the ‘Kenya’ and ‘Namibia’ series.

Set in the Brazilian jungle following World War II, the plot involves mysterious lights, sounds, and the disappearance of a photographer. The story blends elements of mystery and supernatural investigation, involving a London society researching vampire-related matters in Transylvania.

The series was written by Brazilian screenwriter Leo (Luiz Eduardo de Oliveira) and French screenwriter Rodolphe (Rodolphe Jacquette), with illustrations by Belgian artist Bertrand Marchal.
