Egnatia Odos: Police arrest driver after pursuit and investigate 310 km/h speeding video

Police in Greece have responded to two separate incidents involving high-speed driving on the Egnatia Odos highway near Thessaloniki.

In one instance, an 18-year-old Pakistani national was arrested following a police check near Vagiochori. The individual attempted to evade authorities by accelerating his vehicle, leading to a pursuit. Police reported that the driver did not possess a valid license and was accompanied by three other individuals who lacked legal residency documentation. Authorities seized the vehicle, 150 euros, and two mobile phones.

In a separate incident, authorities are investigating a video circulating on TikTok showing a BMW M5 traveling at speeds exceeding 310 km/h on the same highway. While the exact timing of the recording is under investigation, police are currently searching for the driver responsible for the dangerous driving behavior.
