Egnatia Odos: Traffic restrictions in Paramythia through October 25
Asphalt paving works on the Egnatia Odos highway in the Paramythia region will result in temporary traffic restrictions affecting both directions of travel. These adjustments are scheduled to remain in effect until Sunday, October 25, 2026, between the Neochori and Sellon–Tyrias junctions.
For traffic heading toward Igoumenitsa, the left lane will be closed between km 28.2 and km 26 from October 16 to October 22, with traffic moving through the right lane and the emergency lane. Other sections, specifically between km 40.5 and km 36.5, and between km 33.7 and km 30.3, will see the closure of the right lane and the emergency lane, forcing traffic into the left lane with a clearance width of 3.65 meters.
Traffic heading toward Kipoi will face similar restrictions. Between km 26 and km 28.2, and between km 33.7 and km 37, the right lane and emergency lane will be closed from October 18 to October 25. Additionally, the section between km 37.5 and km 40.5 will have the right lane and emergency lane closed until October 20. Drivers are advised to exercise caution, follow construction signage, and adhere to traffic police instructions.
