Eguchi and Matsushima discuss revival of ‘Kyumei Byoto 24-ji’

Actors Yosuke Eguchi and Nanako Matsushima discussed the upcoming revival of the medical drama series ‘Kyumei Byoto 24-ji’ (ER 24) at a Fuji TV promotional event. The new installment, which marks the series' first broadcast in 13 years and its first appearance in the ‘Getsu 9’ time slot, is scheduled to premiere on October 12.

Eguchi, reprising his role as surgeon Issei Shindo, noted the fast-paced nature of the production. Matsushima, playing a deputy center director, described her character's relationship with Shindo as being like comrades sharing similar struggles. During the event, cast members shared anecdotes from the set, including Matsushima accidentally using restaurant-related terminology during a medical scene and her playful rapport with co-star Tomito Yashima.

Eguchi also mentioned his efforts to maintain a communicative atmosphere on set by interacting with new staff members to ensure a positive working environment.
