Egypt and Malta lead Polish winter holiday bookings

Data from the online travel agency eSky indicates a significant shift in travel preferences for Polish tourists regarding the 2027 winter holiday season. Malta has emerged as the top destination, seeing a 146 percent increase in bookings compared to the same period last year.

Egypt has also seen a rise in popularity, ranking as the number one destination for the upcoming winter season and holding the second position for summer bookings. This growth is attributed to increased accessibility through new low-cost direct flight connections, which allow for more flexible planning.

Other notable trends include a 190 percent increase in bookings for the United States and a doubling of interest in Morocco. Family travel remains a dominant force, accounting for over 55 percent of international holiday reservations.
