Egypt and Tunisia launch UNDP‑backed training programs for university solidarity units and auditors

Egypt's Ministry of Social Solidarity, together with the United Nations Development Programme and European Union support, inaugurated a three‑day training programme aimed at strengthening the institutional capacities of university solidarity units. About 150 participants from public and private universities attended, focusing on improving services for thousands of students across 43 units.

Tunisia's Supreme Authority for Administrative and Financial Control, also in partnership with UNDP, organised two training courses – one on audit fundamentals and a second on applying artificial‑intelligence tools in audit work – for administrative and financial inspectors and public auditors. The courses emphasized modern digital techniques, AI applications, and the development of virtual assistants to enhance audit quality and efficiency.
