Egypt and UAE bilateral trade reaches $9.68 billion in 2025

Bilateral trade between Egypt and the United Arab Emirates reached approximately $9.68 billion in 2025, according to Egyptian Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade Mohamed Farid. Egypt recorded a trade surplus of nearly $4.3 billion during this period.

Egyptian exports to the UAE saw significant growth, rising from $1.22 billion in 2021 to $6.99 billion in 2025, representing a 475% increase. Meanwhile, Egyptian imports from the UAE grew from $2.46 billion to $2.69 billion over the same timeframe.

During meetings with UAE Minister of State for Foreign Trade Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, officials discussed deepening economic, trade, and investment ties. Key areas of focus included digital transformation, government service automation, and expanding cooperation within African markets. Both nations agreed to work toward removing barriers for investors and enhancing public-private partnerships.
