Egypt Ministry of Higher Education to announce university admission results
The Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research is set to announce the results of the first phase of university admissions coordination for the 2026/2027 academic year. Minister Dr. Abdel Aziz Qansoua is scheduled to hold a press conference at Cairo University to reveal the results, minimum acceptance thresholds, and the schedule for the second phase of coordination.
Approximately 92,800 students have registered their preferences during the first phase. Preliminary indicators suggest a decrease in minimum acceptance percentages compared to the previous year, with the most significant decline observed in the mathematics branch.
Students can access their results via the official electronic coordination website using their seat numbers and secret codes. Following the announcement, the Ministry will also provide details regarding available seats in colleges and institutes for the second phase of applications.
