Egypt Aviation Minister honors culinary team and reading champion

Egypt's Minister of Civil Aviation, Sameh El-Hefny, has recognized two distinct achievements involving Egyptian citizens.

First, the EgyptAir Catering team secured 28 medals and two major awards at the Creative Chefs 2026 forum. The team earned 17 gold, 4 silver, and 7 bronze medals, alongside the Excellence Award in Aspic and the Best Chef Team award. The competition included various culinary styles, such as Oriental, Western, and international cuisines.

Additionally, Minister El-Hefny welcomed Mayar Mohamed Ragab Osman at Cairo International Airport following her victory in the tenth edition of the Arab Reading Challenge held in Dubai. The Minister praised the young winner, noting that her achievement serves as an inspiration for new generations and reflects the talent of Egyptian youth on an international stage.
