Egypt can become a major economic power through soft power and human investment

Ahmed Zaki, Secretary General of the Exporters Division at the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce, stated that Egypt possesses the necessary components to become a major regional and international economic power. He emphasized that prioritizing investment in human capital, education, health, and technology is essential for the country's next phase of development.

Zaki highlighted the need to effectively utilize Egypt's human, geographic, and productive potential by training youth to lead production, exports, and development. He suggested that Egypt could learn from international models, such as Turkey, which successfully integrated soft power—including drama, art, and sports—to promote tourism and products globally.

To restore its natural standing, Zaki called for repurposing Egyptian art and culture as soft power tools, enabling artists to act as ambassadors. He also advocated for supporting the sports sector and national clubs to enhance Egypt's influential presence across Arab and African regions.
