Egypt closes four unlicensed training centers in Giza

Egypt’s Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Abdel Aziz Qansoua, has ordered the closure of four unlicensed educational facilities in the Giza Governorate. The crackdown was conducted by the ministry’s judicial enforcement committees in cooperation with relevant state authorities to combat fraudulent entities.

The closed institutions include the ‘Al-Ahram International Training Academy,’ which falsely advertised accredited certificates in fields such as nursing, petroleum technology, and media to students of all academic levels. Another facility, the ‘ECC Vocational Training Center,’ was shut down for practicing educational activities without a license and claiming to offer medical and technical certifications.

Additionally, ‘Ultra Care for Vocational Training’ was closed for promoting fake practical training and university-accredited certificates in medical languages and health services. The fourth entity, ‘Apex College for Leadership Preparation,’ was also included in the closure orders. These facilities frequently used social media to attract students by promising accreditation and bypassing standard age or academic requirements.
