Egypt Education Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif Oversees Final Day of National High School Exams
Education Minister Mohamed Abdel Latif monitored the last day of the 2025/2026 high‑school examinations from the ministry’s central operations room, coordinating with provincial operation rooms to ensure smooth conduct across the country. He confirmed that exam question boxes reached all committees on schedule, that student entry and inspection procedures were carried out with precision, and that exams began at the appointed time without delay.
The minister thanked the ministry leadership, regional directors, committee heads, invigilators, security personnel and other supporting bodies for their efforts. More than 870,000 students sat the exams, including 533,958 in biology (science stream), 144,649 in applied mathematics, 192,947 in statistics (arts stream), plus smaller groups in geology, philosophy, and 284 blind‑school students in statistics. The examinations were carried out before 2,032 committees nationwide, with all stages of paper handling – printing, distribution, monitoring and security – fully secured.
