Egypt electricity ministry launches digital payment options for September 2026 bills

The Egyptian Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy, through the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company, has announced several electronic methods for citizens to inquire about and pay their September 2026 electricity bills. This initiative is part of a broader digital transformation strategy to streamline utility services and reduce the need for physical visits to distribution companies.

Available payment methods include the Unified Electricity Services Platform, the official website of the Egyptian Electricity Holding Company, and various electronic collection outlets such as post offices, Masary, Bee, Aman, and others. Customers can also pay via bank wallets (including National Bank of Egypt and Banque Misr), mobile wallets, Fawry points of sale, and approximately 10,000 ATMs distributed across the country.

To inquire about consumption, users can access the distribution company's website, enter their meter details, and provide the 10-digit meter number to view their monthly bill. This digital service aims to help subscribers monitor consumption and avoid late fees.
