Egypt enables electronic employment certificate registration
Job seekers in Egypt can now apply for the employment certificate, officially known as the registration certificate (Kaab al-Amal), through the Digital Egypt platform. This electronic service allows applicants to submit requests, track review status, and download or print the certificate in PDF format once approved.
The certificate is a required document for employment in both the public and private sectors, serving as proof that a job seeker is registered with the relevant authorities. To apply, users must access the Ministry of Labor services on the Digital Egypt platform, enter personal details including their national ID, educational qualifications, and military status for male applicants.
Required documentation typically includes a valid national ID, original educational certificates, and military service status documents. Depending on the profession, additional items such as experience certificates, skill level measurement certificates, or professional practice licenses may be necessary. While the platform aims to provide responses within 24 hours, final issuance depends on the successful review of all submitted data by the competent authorities.
