Egypt Health Minister inspects medical supply stockpiles

Egypt's Minister of Health and Population, Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, conducted an inspection of medical supply warehouses and central workshops to ensure the availability of strategic medical stockpiles.

The tour included visits to central workshops responsible for producing medical furniture and specialized clothing for healthcare staff. The Minister emphasized maintaining high quality standards and directed the development of a plan to upgrade machinery and equipment to improve operational speed and accuracy.

Additionally, the inspection covered warehouses for kidney and heart disease supplies to ensure regular supply and storage processes. The Minister also reviewed operations at the ministry's printing press and the vehicle repair center to ensure efficient maintenance of ministry-owned vehicles. During the visit, Dr. Abdel Ghaffar instructed that daily wages for workers be increased and linked to production rates to incentivize performance.
