Egypt hosts Pharaohs International Aerobic Gymnastics Cup

Egypt is currently hosting the Pharaohs International Aerobic Gymnastics Cup at the Dr. Hassan Mostafa Hall in 6th of October City. The event features 290 athletes representing 30 sports organizations.

Saif Amin, head of the tournament's judging committee and deputy head of the African Gymnastics Federation's technical committee, stated that the competition serves as a preparatory step for Egypt's hosting of the 2028 Aerobic Gymnastics World Cup. He noted that the Egyptian Gymnastics Federation is treating this tournament as a "mini World Cup" in terms of organizational and administrative standards, operating under the umbrella of the International Gymnastics Federation.

The tournament aims to develop young administrative cadres and prepare a new generation of athletes capable of competing on continental and international stages. Since its inception in 2019, the Pharaohs International series has established itself as a significant event on the global gymnastics map.
