Egypt initiates 2026 primary and preparatory school exams in Giza and Cairo

The Ministry of Education in Giza has made the 2026 primary‑six (grade 6) examination results available online through the Basic Education portal. Parents and students can view results by logging in, selecting the grade, and entering the student’s national ID. An appeals procedure is also outlined, requiring a formal request, payment of a fee, and review of exam papers.

On the same day, the second term of the 2026 Preparatory Certificate (Thanaweya Amma) examinations began across Cairo, Giza and several other governorates. The schedule lists subjects for each day, for example Arabic and handwriting on 4 June, mathematics and statistics on 6 June, and science on 8 June in Giza. Authorities have issued strict rules for exam halls, banning mobile phones, photography, and ensuring proper seating, cleanliness, and discipline to minimize disruptions.
