Egypt launches “Housing for All Egyptians 9” social‑housing program

The Egyptian Ministry of Housing announced the ninth phase of its "Housing for All Egyptians" initiative, offering 750,000‑850,000 EGP fully finished apartments for low‑ and middle‑income families. A down‑payment of 20,000‑30,000 EGP and up to 20‑year mortgage terms make monthly installments affordable, starting at about 1,070 EGP.

Eligibility requires applicants to be at least 21 years old, have a net annual family income not exceeding 72,000 EGP (54,000 EGP for singles), and not already own a unit or land from previous government housing projects. Applicants must be residents or workers in the governorate where the unit is located. Units range from 75 m² (two‑bedroom) to 90 m² (three‑bedroom) and will be located in new districts such as Garden City, New October, October City, Al‑Obour New City, 10th of Ramadan, Sadat City, Asyut New City and Sohag New City.

Prospective buyers must submit a national ID copy, marriage certificate, children’s birth certificates, salary slips or other income proof, a recent utility bill, and proof of the down‑payment receipt.
