Egypt Minister of State for Media meets digital content creators

Egypt's Minister of State for Media, Diaa Rashwan, held an extensive meeting with approximately 70 prominent digital content creators and influencers. The group, which specializes in political, economic, social, cultural, scientific, and technological content, commands a combined social media following of over 500 million people.

The meeting is part of a series of discussions aimed at engaging various sectors of the press, media, and digital platforms to better inform public opinion. This initiative follows directives from President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi to prioritize public opinion, promote constructive dialogue, and encourage sound thinking and respect for differing views.

Minister Rashwan emphasized that the state is committed to informing the public through all available and influential means, including digital content. He noted that digital content creation can serve as a complementary role to professional media when used effectively to address national issues and societal affairs.
