Egypt Ministry of Education reopens registration for 2027 preparatory certificate

The Egyptian Ministry of Education and Technical Education has issued an urgent decision to reopen electronic registration for the 2027 preparatory certificate ( الشهادة الإعدادية). This extension allows students to complete their applications through the general certificates platform or via information unit officials at preparatory schools.

The additional registration period is scheduled for four days, starting Thursday, November 5, 2026, and concluding on Sunday, November 8, 2026. The Ministry stated that this measure was taken to assist students who had not yet completed their electronic registrations, ensuring their ability to sit for the upcoming examinations.

Preparatory schools have been instructed to take all necessary measures to finalize and review the electronic forms for all registered students within this timeframe. This follows a previous extension that had moved the deadline from October 22 to October 30, 2026.
