Egypt Ministry of Education sets final deadline for STEM gifted school registration

The Ministry of Education announced that the online application window for the 2026‑2027 academic year for STEM gifted schools will close on Sunday, 9 August 2026. After the deadline, admission tests will be held from 16 August to 20 August 2026.

Applicants must have achieved at least 98 % in the preparatory certificate and a top score in one of the core subjects – science, mathematics or English. Registration is processed through a unified system that consolidates all STEM gifted schools, including the School of Gifted Students at Ain Shams. Candidates submit a single file, take one entrance exam, list their preferred schools, and are allocated based on scores, preferences and coordination rules.

The ministry urged students and parents to complete the required documents before the deadline, noting that any submissions after 9 August will not be considered.
