Egypt Ministry of Higher Education announces 2026 admission updates

The Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has announced several updates regarding the 2026 university admission processes. For students holding technical diplomas in industrial, commercial, hotel, and agricultural specialties, registration for colleges and institutes is expected to open in September, following the completion of general secondary school coordination.

Students with equivalent Arab and foreign certificates can register their preferences for Egyptian universities through the electronic coordination website. This process requires students to submit original documents to the coordination office to validate their registration. Additionally, the results for the 'reduction of alienation' (transfer between colleges) for the first and second stages are expected to be released within 24 to 72 hours after the registration period closed on August 24.

Furthermore, the third stage of coordination for general secondary school students is approaching. This stage will open following the announcement of the transfer results, allowing students in the literary stream to apply for remaining vacancies in various education and specialized education colleges.
